Post Scripts (from a not so unbelievable life) Cast & Crew
Juliana Gilchrist / Producer / Actor
I spent my formative years in the dusty west Texas town of El Paso. There I dreamed of the stages of Broadway and the RSC. As I would later discover New York was very expensive and England didn't have much to offer in the way of Mexican food. The obvious move was to Austin, a town filled with theatre, music and film. I was a member of a local theatre company for nine years when I decided the only way to play the roles that truly called to me was to start my own company and write my own shows. It worked. Now Lune Noire Productions is gearing up for our international debut. I am truly excited to work in mixed media - our show being a blend of all the things that make me tick - live theatre, music and digital video. On a personal note, I enjoy long lunches with glasses of champagne and hushed conversation. I'm a Gemini. I believe that says it all.
Neil Hieatt / Director / Editor / DP
I grew up shucking corn in the sleepy town of Bellevue, Nebraska USA. As years passed, I grew tired of corn and my interests began turning towards motion pictures and media. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona and received an associates degree in motion picture and television production. I sought further education in the field from the University of Texas at Austin. While attending the UT I refined my skills as a cinematographer, editor, and director and have worked on everything from music videos to independent feature films. I am very excited for my most recent project, Post Scripts (From a Not so Unbelievable Life) because it will be our first to cross international boundaries, and hopefully not the last. I find great excitement in racing around town on my Vespa and have been known to wear a cravat for absolutely no reason.
Joey Hood / Actor
Originally from Mississippi, Joey has lived happily in Austin for the last seven years. He is a performer with The Rude Mechanicals Theatre Company and does his fair share of acting up in local indie films. Voiceovers occasionally pay the bills. He can also be found mixing elaborate cocktails a little joint known to some as the Club De Ville - where the swell people hang out. Joey is ecstatic to be performing for the first time at the Edinburgh Fringe (be gentle with him as it is his first time - out of the U.S. as well).
Andy Hadaway / Actor
I made my way to Austin from San Antonio Texas to pursue my love of coffee and music. As luck would have it, I immediately found a job making the worlds greatest mocha latte and soon after made friends with some very talented musicians. A band was born and The Innocent began playing our very own blend of Brit pop meets Ernest Hemmingway. A jazz trio followed. Suddenly I found myself making scores for local dance projects. I also am the assistant engineer/producer at "The Means of Production" recording studio. It was clear - the arts were my calling. A role in a local indie sci-fi flick whetted my appetite for "acting". About that time my dear friend Juliana Gilchrist called me about a multi media project called Cabfare in which I would have a small - but effective role. It was clear we needed to do more work together and that's when "Post Scripts..." was born. I like fetching red leather jackets and playing the sax and accordion. Really.
